Badoo - New Headshots / Portraits

I've been fortunate enough to have done a few shoots over the last few weeks with Badoo.

Badoo is a funky young company based in Soho London. I was commissioned to shoot the heads of departments and the founders of the app / company.

Badoo is a dating-focused social network, founded in 2006. It operates in 190 countries and is available in 47 different languages, making it the world's most widely used dating network to date.

Nice & Simple - Plain Backdrop

I've put a new section on my website called Plain Backdrop where all the images are shot against plain backdrops. Sometimes it's nice to get rid of all the clutter and just shoot a nice plain and simple portrait against a roll of paper or a wall, it can also help to bring out the personality / character of the subject.

Plain background doesn't mean boring, on the contrary, you can get really strong images against a plain studio style backdrop.

None of these images were actually shot in a studio, I took backdrops into the clients offices and set up studio there, some with lighting and some with natural daylight.

Frontier Economics - 2016

Here's some shots from my recent shoot with Frontier Economics, this is about the 10th shoot that I have done with Frontier over the last 4 years, great guys, great office space.

The brief was simple - take some relaxed portraits of employees and then some photos of people going about their work in and around the offices.

Theatre Projects

Some portraits that I was commissioned to shoot on a white backdrop for the Theatre Projects company.

The Theatre Projects company creates extraordinary performance spaces.
With more than 1,200 projects in over 70 countries, their work ranges from studio theatres to performing arts centers.
